Additional SEN and Behaviour Profiling can be requested by schools. We offer SNAP Together (Special Needs Assessment and Behaviour Profiling), a computer-aided diagnostic and profiling programme for specific learning and behavioural difficulties. The SNAP programme outlines underlying learning difficulties bringing clear insights to pupils’ specific learning difficulties. This will enable schools to allow earlier, more focused and more effective interventions and provide a basis for reviewing progress with insights about the effectiveness of any intervention.
The Behaviour Profiling can inform pupil planning using significantly more focused, directed and effective high quality robust data to provide bespoke interventions promoting good behaviour linked to three key domains – relationship with self, relationships with peers and relationships with adults. It can be used to identify learners who need personalised interventions that can narrow the gap, raise achievement and support all learners
SNAP Together draws information from home and school. Parents and pupils will complete the questionnaire at interview. It is essential that schools complete the questionnaire in order for all data to be triangulated. Carefully-targeted questions identify clusters and patterns of difficulties or behaviours, and give a graphic profile which pinpoints core problem areas. For each problem area, SNAP then generates information sheets which are personalised to the individual pupil, giving down-to-earth, practical advice, information and strategies for more focused and effective support, at school and at home.
Schools wishing to refer a pupil must complete the Referral Form.
