Curriculum Intent
Our thematic approach follows a topic through all curriculum areas. This allows our learners to apply themselves in a number of different ways. A thematic approach stimulates pupils to make connections between subjects and the world around them. It builds confidence and motivation for our students through the use of a range of learning and teaching styles.

Our intent is to develop students who are active, empathetic, and informed members of their communities, prepared to contribute positively to society. |
Our theme of "The Wider World" is designed to broaden students' horizons by exploring global issues, cultures, and perspectives. By engaging with the complexities and interconnections of our world, we aim to develop globally aware, responsible, and empathetic learners. Our intent is to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a sense of global citizenship, preparing students to navigate and contribute to an increasingly interconnected world.
