Royal Academy of Dance at New Regents College

This academic year our pupils have the wonderful opportunity of working with The Royal Academy of Dance every week with their ‘Step Into Dance’ programme. They will be able to learn Street Dancing techniques from professional dancer AJ Jackson. 

The partnership between the Jack Petchey Foundation and The Royal Academy of Dance is the largest, on-going inclusive secondary school dance programme in the UK. It provides focus, creative experience, live performance opportunities and a chance for young dancers to further learn and develop.

The first session was very successful, with all pupils completely engaged and fully participating. After the class they said how much they had enjoyed the lesson. We all are looking forward to the next Street Dance class.
