The Nurture Group at the Olympic Park

Posted on 1st Apr

Students and staff thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Olympic park. With the weather pleasant, packed lunches prepared to go, we were ready to explore the Olympic Park. We explored the; towering hills, steep slopes, sand play areas, wobbly bridges, spinning logs and much more. The visit tested the courage of the pupils but with peer support the tunnel slide wasn't too scary after all, "wee, lets do that again", the wobbly bridge could be crossed at lightening speed and those spinning logs just needed a hand to hold, teamwork! Our visit allowed us to build positive and trusting relationships with peers and staff. Nurture Group, you were fantastic! Well done,
