London Youth Rowing funded by Vintners

We are extremely grateful to The Worshipful Company of Vintners, our partner organisation and supporter of New Regents College, who have fully funded an exciting venture with London Youth Rowing. This 3 month project got off to a flying start with an indoor rowing competition with KS3 pupils and staff. I had not realised quite how competitive (some) of the staff are! The winners of the competition were Akinola (gold), Amaree (silver) and Taucqwrio (bronze). Five pupils will be selected to continue with the London Youth Rowing Programme where they will learn new skills and develop self-confidence with weekly rowing sessions in real boats on real water.
