Wheelchair basketball

Every Tuesday morning our KS1 and KS2 pupils play wheelchair basketball (alternatively with rock climbing)on the premises of Young Hackney.

They have the use of six special wheelchairs and play very competitively in teams. It's a very excited time for them and they look forward to it every week.

As it gives them a different perspective, it is a valid experience and quite different to other sports they usually play.
