Staff at New Regent’s College were very sad to learn of Barry’s death at the weekend. Along with his 15 year old grandson, Barry was killed in a tragic incident at a level crossing in Sussex near to where he lived. Barry was part of the leadership of two of our predecessor schools – Daniel House and St John’s Tuition Centre and played a significant part in the lives of many young people in Hackney. Barry was a warm hearted, kind man and is fondly remembered by his many friends and colleagues in Hackney.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Barry’s family at this amazingly difficult time.
