Trip to Hackney Picture House

On Thursday March 15th and Friday, March 16, 2018 the school arranged a trip to the Hackney Picture House, 270 Mare Street, E8 1HE. Students were working in Collaborative Learning around the social, political and cultural importance of the film, and the impact of artists of colour telling their story. After watching Black Panther, students did work around the genre of the film, structure, character, inference, comparing and contrasting etc. The trip was successful and all students that watched the film were enthralled.
JD – “What a film, I bet there is Black Panther 2”
KP – “I watched to the end, I mean right to the end...even after the trailers. What a movie!”
AU- “It was a very good film!”
