Launch of MyTutor Programme

We have launched a personalised on-line interactive Tutor programme at New Regent’s College. We felt our pupils needed a focused intervention to catch up on the English and Maths lessons they missed due to the Covid-19 lockdown.

Called MyTutor, they match pupils with a top tutor to reinforce classwork, boost confidence and raise grades. They currently work with over 400 schools. Latest Impact Report from MyTutor has shown that pupils can make twice the grade progress of their peers, helping pupils to fulfil their potential as a result.

It was a successful launch where pupils engaged well with the lessons and responded positively to the tailored 1 to 1 support. Because pupils have the same tutor, they develop a strong relationship and rapport – this builds confidence and really helps them improve.
