At New Regents College pupils are taught and assessed within the two different disciplines of reading and writing and aims to develop the skills and knowledge that pupils will require to be successful within the new 1-9 English Language and English Literature GCSE exams. Within this our primary focus is to equip pupils with core English language skills, such as Spelling, punctuation and grammar, the ability to understand and interpret a wide range of texts and develop their understanding of the formality of the English language.
